What will you gain by participating in the training?

You will understand the new classification of personality disorders, mood disorders, and stress-related disorders in ICD-11.

You will learn the differential diagnosis between symptoms typical of personality, mood, and stress-related disorders, and distinguish them from other conditions (e.g., early symptoms of psychosis, neurodevelopmental disorders).

You will learn to recognize co-occurrence of disorders (comorbidity) within these diagnostic groups and understand its impact on treatment planning.

You will learn about the „red flags” indicating an urgent need for psychiatric consultation (e.g. risk of suicide, auto-aggression, psychotic symptoms).

You’ll understand the importance of a medical interview and psychiatric examination in a comprehensive patient assessment. You’ll learn how a psychologist can assist by gathering the appropriate information.

You will learn to collaborate effectively with a psychiatrist, using the common ICD-11 diagnostic language and building integrated treatment plans.

You will receive an official certificate of completion of the training, confirming your qualifications and an additional distinction.
